These delicious Lamb burgers are a real crowd-pleaser. We’ve added mild herbs and spices - like mint, coriander and cumin - for a fresh flavour twist
- 500g minced lamb
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1 onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander
Pitta brea, tzatziki and cucumber slices, to serve
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Divide into 8 mini burgers or 4 regular ones, wet your hands and roll each ball into an oval shape. Place onto a baking tray and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2. Cook the burgers on a griddle pan or in a frying pan for 3-4 minutes each side. (Or 5-6 minutes per side if you are making 4 larger burgers.) Serve with warmed pitta bread, tzatziki and cucumber slices.
