Green smoothie recipe
Smoothies are a great way to get fruit, vegetables and nutrients into your children in a delicious way. Serve them at breakfast or as a healthy snack of pudding.

- 250ml coconut water or cold water
- 200g spinach
- 150ml apple juice
- 1 banana, thickly sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)
- Handful of ice cubes

Put all the ingredients into a blender and whiz on high for at least 11/2 minutes or until smooth. Blend the spinach in batches if it doesn't fit in the blender at at once. Pour into cups and serve.
