Pitta chips recipe
A quick and easy snack for all the family. Your little ones can help brush the pitta bread with a little olive oil and sprinkle on the sesame seeds or Parmesan cheese.
- 2 round wholemeal pitta breads
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 180C/gas mark 4. Line two large baking sheets with baking parchment.
Split each of the pitta breads in half and cut into 6 wedges. Brush with the olive oil and sprinkle with the sesame seeds or Parmesan if using.
Arrange the pitta wedges on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove and serve hot, or allow to cool and store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
