Fruit kebab recipe
These kebabs work with any fruit you have on hand and are fun for picnics. Older children can carefully help put the fruit on the skewers.
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 bananas, cut into 2.5cm slices
- 5 large strawberries, halved
- 2 kiwi fruit, thickly sliced, each slice cut into 6 equal chunks
- 1 melon, de-seeded and cut into large chunks
Drizzle the lemon juice over the banana slices to stop them going brown. Arrange alternate pieces of fruit on 8 wooden skewers and serve immediately.
