Our Story

Our Story
Hillary & Monty

At Little Dish we know it’s not easy making good nutritious meals for your little ones day in and day out. So that’s what we do.

Hillary and John created Little Dish in 2006. Expecting her first child, Hillary noticed that no one was making fresh, healthy food for kids which parents could buy in the supermarket. She then set out on her vision to provide a range of food much like the meals you cook at home, only using ingredients that you would find in your kitchen. And thus, Little Dish was born.

Starting in 2006 we were only sold through a handful of stores, whilst now over 100,000 Little Dishes are served every week across the UK.

We only use 100% natural ingredients and never add salt or sugar. We create every recipe in partnership with our nutritionist, and each Little Dish is taste tested by a team of tiny tasters before we let it out of the kitchen.

We work with the best suppliers we can find so you can feel good about what you're feeding your children. Our chicken and beef is free from antibiotics and growth hormones and comes from select British farms where the animals are well cared for, and all of our vegetables are tested for pesticides. In fact, Little Dish is so fresh and tasty even grown-ups have been known to tuck in.

All of our meals are perfect for little ones 12 months plus, and can be ready to eat in minutes.

You can buy Little Dish at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Waitrose Deliver and Ocado.com.
