Make a Little Dish bus
There’s no need for the Little Dish pots and boxes to go straight to the recycling bin as there’s all sorts of imaginative ways you can put the pots and packaging to good use.
What you need:
- Little Dish fromage frais packet and empty pots
- Glue
- Scissors
- Selection of coloured paper
- Felt tip pens
- Paints and paintbrush
What to do:
- Cover the sides of the box with white or coloured paper.
- Carefully glue two of the fromage frais pots to each side of the box.
- Define the wheels by cutting out four small circles of dark paper and sticking them to the centre of the base of the pots. If you plan to paint the wheels, use acrylic paint rather than poster paint.
- Once the glue has dried, start colouring your bus. Draw on the bus doors, the windows along the top deck and the roof. Be imaginative. Use the hole at the top of the box to position a little toy or make a character out of pipe cleaners and paper.
- Take a photo and email it to us at hello@littledish.co.uk and we’ll send you five 30 pence off Little Dish coupons to say thanks.
Tip: Make your own coloured paper, by painting sheets of plain paper with poster paint. This way you encourage children to learn how to mix up colours.
All aboard! Tara and Rory’s double-decker bus. Cheetah wanted a ride too.
